Route Description: The route from Rifugio Laghi Gemelli to Rifugio Calvi is a varied and rewarding hiking experience. It begins with a descent towards Lago delle Casere, then ascends back to Lago Marcio and follows its shore up to the dam. After a section with switchbacks, you reach a fork: keep right, crossing an evocative rocky wall with passages carved into the rock. Continue through the forest to Lago di Sardegnana. From here, you ascend towards the guardians' house and, with a flat section, pass over Dosso dei Signori and Valle dei Frati. Finally, you cross a stream and climb up to Lago di Fregabolgia, before reaching Rifugio Calvi. This itinerary offers the opportunity to admire several alpine lakes, cross evocative landscapes, and enjoy breathtaking panoramas.
